Girls Guild is looking for writers who want to get in on the ground floor of the Girls Guild story.  A series of chapter books targeted to elementary school age kids much like the popular Magic Treehouse series would be perfect.  Ideally, each chapter book would be around 12 to 15k words and include references to the Girls Guild back story set in Atlantis, although the books may be set in any time period so long as the central protagonists are Girls Guilders.

Here’s the cool part:  In order to get Girls Guild off to a great start, all of the characters, back-story, etc., will always be available for non-commercial work free with a Creative Commons license.  Further, if you plan to make the work available commercially, the commercial license will be free for a limited number of early bird authors who sign on now.
